I bought my first ever (huuuuge) Raspberry Macaron from Patisserie Paul the other day in celebration of some excellent news, and enjoyed every tiny pink morsel....
The 'Lucy' blotter was made for me by my lovely assistant and friend, Miss Claudia Sanchiz Garin :-)

I've never had a macaron. I never see them in any of our bakeries. I love the way they look though. I've drawn them and bought macaron soap on Etsy. They are so wonderful, I just know. :)
Oooh - they are pretty blooming delicious - so fruity and sugary, mmmmmm :)
To be honest though, they are not that easy to come across in London either, I just happened to walk past this little concession and they caught my eye, and I thought 'Why not?!" x
